1. About AṣọHub
AṣọHub is a digital coordination and payment platform that helps wedding hosts manage aso-ebi (traditional Nigerian event attire) with their guests. Hosts list products, guests browse and pay online, and the platform handles order tracking and payment collection.
AṣọHub is a coordination platform only. We do not manufacture, stock, deliver, or ship any products. All product fulfilment is managed by the wedding host.
AṣọHub is operated by AṣọHub Ltd. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place orders on AṣọHub. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@asohub.com.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. Host Responsibilities
Hosts create wedding events, upload products (fabrics, bundles, accessories), set prices, and invite guests. As a host, you are responsible for:
- The accuracy of product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Fulfilling all orders placed by your guests, including delivery and sizing
- The quality of products supplied to guests
- Communicating delivery timelines and any delays to your guests
- Ensuring you have the right to share guest contact information with the platform
- Responding to guest queries about their orders
AṣọHub is not responsible for any disputes between hosts and guests regarding product quality, delivery, or fulfilment.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests browse products on a wedding store page, add items to their cart, and pay using the available payment methods. As a guest, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact and delivery information
- Completing payment for orders you place
- Communicating directly with the host regarding product queries, sizing, and delivery
- Completing any outstanding installment payments on time
The transaction for products is between you and the wedding host. AṣọHub facilitates the payment and coordination but is not a party to the sale.
6. Pricing and Fees
Hosts set a base price for each product. AṣọHub adds an 8% service fee on top of the host price. The total price shown to guests includes this service fee. Hosts receive 100% of the price they set.
Guests who choose to pay in installments are subject to an additional 5% installment processing fee, which is clearly displayed before checkout. The installment fee covers the administrative cost of managing split payments.
All prices are shown in the currency configured by the host (NGN, GBP, or USD). Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by the payment processor.
7. Payments
Payments are processed through trusted, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Nigerian Naira (NGN) payments are processed by Paystack. British Pound (GBP) and US Dollar (USD) payments are processed by Stripe. AṣọHub does not store your card details.
Funds collected from guest payments are held for a minimum clearance period before being made available for host withdrawal. This protects against chargebacks and fraudulent transactions.
Hosts can request payouts of cleared funds through the dashboard. Payouts are sent to the bank account provided by the host via Paystack Transfers (NGN) or Stripe Connect (GBP/USD).
By making a payment on the platform, you agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment processor (Paystack or Stripe).
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies are determined by the wedding host. If you need a refund, contact the host directly. AṣọHub may facilitate refunds at the host's request but is not obligated to issue refunds on the host's behalf.
Where a refund is issued, the AṣọHub platform service fee (8%) is non-refundable. The refund amount will be the order total minus the platform service fee. Installment fees, where applicable, are also non-refundable.
Hosts may deactivate their wedding store at any time. Existing orders and payments are not affected by deactivation.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Create fake wedding events or fraudulent listings
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees
- Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
- Interfere with the platform's security or operation
- Use the platform to launder money or process payments for goods or services unrelated to aso-ebi
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the platform without permission
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
10. Intellectual Property
The AṣọHub name, logo, branding, and platform design are our property. You may not use them without our written permission.
By uploading product images or content to the platform, you grant AṣọHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You retain ownership of your content and may remove it at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
AṣọHub provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We are not liable for:
- Disputes between hosts and guests
- Product quality, accuracy of descriptions, or fitness for purpose
- Delivery delays, losses, or damages
- Actions or omissions of payment processors
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the platform is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to AṣọHub in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with another user, you agree to attempt to resolve it directly before involving AṣọHub. We may, at our discretion, mediate disputes but are not obligated to do so.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria.
